Raffaella Agostini graduated in law at the University of Turin and was admitted to the Turin bar in 2007.

In 2008 she was a visiting lawyer at the London IP department of the Addleshaw Goddard LLP law firm.

She has extensive experience in the intellectual property area, specifically in patents and trademarks matters as well as in advertising and unfair competition, regularly assisting foreign and Italian clients.

In her litigation practice Raffaella has been directly involved in international disputes over standard essential patents for mobile telecommunications, including the determination of royalty rates under FRAND terms adopted by the standards organizations.

Raffaella also matured a specific knowledge on the enforcement of vegetal variety rights.

She also has a wide experience in contentious proceedings, both ex parte and on the merits, involving fashion trademarks as well as consumer products.

Her non-contentious practice includes advising on advertising campaigns. She coordinates anti-counterfeiting strategies on a national scale, also in cooperation with the Customs authorities.

Bianca graduated in law in 2016 at the University of Turin in 2016, with a graduation paper on “Technological means for the protection of copyrighted work” under the tutorship of Prof. Avv. Marco Ricolfi.

In 2017 she won the nation-wide Studio Torta graduation award.

After graduating, she practiced as a clerk with the Turin Tribunal for 12 months in the business specialized court. During this training she supported the judge in charge and took part in hearings and decision chambers.

She then started practicing with IP|skill and pursued her collaboration after admission to the Turin bar, working on contentious and non-contentious intellectual property matters.

She is a member of the Turin law society since 2019.

Since 1994 Stefania Tosatto has been collaborating with International law firms, such as White & Case and SJ Berwin, and developed significant experience as a legal and administrative assistant.

He was admitted to the Turin bar in 1998 and is registered with the Turin Law Society.

Federico Zanardi Landi has extensive experience in a wide range of intellectual property matters dealing with all forms of intellectual property rights and entertainment law.

His litigation practice includes defending complex cases before the Italian Tribunals and Courts of Appeal (including Specialized Courts for Intellectual Property).

His non-contentious experience includes advising on licenses, distribution agreements, franchises and intellectual property aspects of M&A, private equity and venture capital transactions.

He lectures and writes regularly on various IP issues and has contributed to “Pharmaceutical, Biotechnology And Chemical Inventions: World Protection And Exploitation” published by Oxford University Press.

His areas of expertise are trademarks, unfair competition, design, patents and utility models, and entertainment law.

Federico Zanardi Landi is a member of AIPLA (American Intellectual Property Law Association) and AIPPI (International Association for the Protection of Intellectual Property).

Federico Zanardi Landi has also been representing the Italian Government as an expert in the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UN/UNCITRAL Working Group VI) to help prepare a draft international convention on security interest in IP.

Italian and European trademark and design attorney

Giulio Martellini graduated in law (hons.) at the University of Turin in 1996.
He practices IP law since 1996 and qualified as an Italian and European trademark and design attorney in 2000.

In 2002 he obtained a postgraduate diploma in Trademarks and Designs from the CEIPI – Université Robert Schuman (Strasbourg III).

From 2005 to 2016 he collaborated with WIPO in Geneva for training seminars on the international registration of marks under the Madrid Agreement and Protocol.

From 2006 until 2013 he has been lecturing in the Designs module at the Master of Laws (LLM) in IP organized by WIPO and the University of Turin. In 2008 he has been admitted to the list of qualified professionals in trademarks and designs held by the French INPI.

He is an active member of INTA, where he currently chairs the Trademark Office Practices – European National Offices subcommittee, of PTMG and of APRAM. He is also a member of the Trademarks task group of the “Ordine dei Consulenti in Proprietà Industriale” (Italian Industrial Property Consultants Institute).

He appeared as a speaker in several trademark-related national and international events and courses, and also took part to several WIPO missions and consultations regarding the Madrid Agreement and Protocol concerning the International Registration of marks.
